Comment: America has lost supportof the world??? Since when did America EVER have support of the world?Afghanistan? Iraq? No, people were more than satisfied to say "I want no part of this" because I have not been affected by it, allow these thugs and criminals to continue destroying their people as long as I'm not affected. America's perception abroad by a bunch of cowards is the least of our problems. And your laughable claims of war profit and oil? Oil costs more now than ever, and the war has cost billions. Lets admit the truth and that is that Saddam Hussein refused to allow inspectors to do their jobs. So we kicked the door in and allowed our inspectors to look wherever they wanted. Saddam shouldve just let the inspectors in and he'd still be alive instead of hanged as a murderer. And as far as Palin is concerned you're taking the statement too literally, she was eluding to those fighting under the umbrella of Muslim extremism not somebody from a specific country but those fighting for an ideal. If you can call it that.

Comment: Why should this come as a surprise?
The expansion of Al Qaeda was both predictable and predicted,
To make matters worse America has lost the support of the world in turning a blind eye and invading a country for oil and war profits.
But the real failure is in fermenting fear and hatred in the Islamic counties, particularly in the Middle East, if someone fears and hates you he becomes your enemy.

Comment: There is a very strong likely hood Osama was "allowed to escape"
Had Osama been killed or captured the war in Iraq would never have happened, He was the boogy man that kept the emotional responce necessary to garner support for what is Bush's primary goal.
The GOP propaganda was so effective some 35% of Americans still believe Iraq had something to do with 9/11.
One of them apparently is Sarah Palin judging from the speach she gave to departing Alaskan troops bound for Iraq just a week ago, since she told them theywere going to fight those who had attacked us..
    And that is not Iraq..
